One post will be filled ideally by a teacher with experience of GCSE physics.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. In December 2015, Ofsted praised the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. They judged students’ “personal development” too as outstanding. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. We are ambitious for them all and share a deep conviction that they should all reach their potential with us.

The Science Department is developing rapidly and outcomes at GCSE this year were excellent. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and driven professionals to join our team. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals.

Application forms and further information are available from the vacancies section of the school website.

All applications must be made on the NWHS application form – CV’s will not be considered.

The successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
